NOZUKI selected Yokofutori as the opening of this game . But SATO moved up his King with 8.K-5h , before capturing the 3d-Rook . NOZUKI's King moved to 4a protecting the 3b-Gold and it was the first step of making NAKAHARA gakoi .

SATO captured the 3d-Pawn with 9.Rx3d and NOZUKI moved up his Bishop with 9...B-3c . The game advanced a variation of AONO ryu line .

NOZUKI backed his Rook with 10...R-8e threatening R-2e . SATO also backed his Rook with 11.R-3e to avoid the move , and they exchanged the Rooks .

After the Rook exchange , NOZUKI exchanged Bishops too , and dropped it with 13...B*6d aiming at the 1i-Lance .

SATO dropped a Rook with 14.R*2d attacking the 2a-Knight but without protecting the 1i-Lance . NOZUKI captured the 1i-Lance with 14...Bx1i+ and SATO also captured the 2a-Knight with 15.Rx2a+ . NOZUKI dropped a Rook with 15...R*2b to remove SATO's promoted Rook from the board .

After the Rook exchange , SATO continued attacking with 17.P*2c . SATO's attack closed around NOZUKI's King and NOZUKI also tried to attack SATO's King with 23...R*1h .
