WATANABE promoted the 3h-Pawn with 42...P-3i+ killing the 2i-Rook . MORIUCHI dropped a Pawn with 43.P*2d , sacrificing a Pawn to open the 2c-square where he would drop a piece for attacking . WATANABE captured the 2d-Pawn with 43...Px2d and MORIUCHI advanced his 4d-Silver with 44.S-3c= .

WATANABE backed his promoted Bishop with 44...+B-5e to defend . This move was a very effective move . MORIUCHI dropped a Knight with 45.N*4d to block the 5e-promoted Bishop's power . WATANABE simply sacrificed the promoted Bishop with 45...+Bx4d to delay MORIUCHI's attack .

WATANABE captured the 2i-Rook and dropped it with 47...R*3i to attack MORIUCHI's King . MORIUCHI's King naturally escaped with 48.K-8h . WATANABE's next move 48...S*7i seemed to be an excellent move !
